IPL Skin Rejuvenation can help say goodbye to the effects of sun damage, rosacea, pigmentation, and more. With the innovative Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Skin rejuvenation procedure, gentle skin rejuvenation is now easier than ever. IPL Skin rejuvenation allows patients to transform red or brown blotchy skin into a radiant complexion. IPL treatments can also help to improve skin texture, by stimulating collagen growth.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation mode can assist with the following:
Boost Collagen Production
Reduces skin redness & rosacea
Improved appearance of acne scars
Reduce sun spots
Pigmentation
Improved fine wrinkles
Reduced pore size
Reduced appearance of spider veins/broken capillaries
People with white, untanned skin, who was previously exposed to long term sun exposure without adequate sun protection. Sun-damaged, or discoloured skin, or people whose skin has been affected by sunspots, age spots, broken capillaries or flushed cheeks as well as loss of elasticity, may benefit from IPL treatment.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) delivers high intensity, controlled pulses of light that penetrate the skin and is exactly absorbed by the problem areas,( the pigmentation or facial veins) that causes it to fragment, while also stimulating the formation of collagen and elastin. IPL also encourages the production of collagen, a natural protein, making the skin smooth and supple.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation is one of the safest light-based facial treatments available. There have been no reported long-term side effects of IPL Skin Rejuvenation, and the most common side effects - redness, minor swelling, and inflammation - usually go away within a few minutes to a few hours after treatment.
Skin Rejuvenation can be used on the full body and face. Very popular for the neck, face, hands, arms and legs.
With each treatment, the results of IPL skin rejuvenation become more pronounced. The Lumilia Lux SR function can be used every second 2nd to 3rd day.

Avoid natural and artificial tanning—including self-tanner and spray tans - 1 week prior to your treatment. Discontinue the use of Retin-A, Retinol, glycolics, bleaching creams, and exfoliants on treatment area one week prior. Gently cleanse the area, removing all makeup and lotions before treatment.
We recommend using a aloe vera gel or any fragrance-free moisturiser after treatment. Apply a cold compress—not ice—to help reduce redness and swelling. Do not pick or scratch any darkened, pigmented areas that begin to flake.
Avoid natural and artificial tanning—including self-tanner and spray tans—for a minimum of 1 week.
Apply a minimum SPF 45 (UVA/UVB) sunblock after your treatment and avoid direct sunlight on the area for 24-48 hours.
