What the App stores, and where

The App lets you track your at-home IPL treatment sessions, set treatment reminders and keep progress photos.

All of this information, including your profile details, treatment logs, reminder settings and photos, is stored locally on your device only.

The App has no user accounts, no login, no cloud synchronisation and no server. We cannot see, access or recover your data.

Photos

Progress photos you add to the App are saved on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

The App uses your device's system photo picker to add photos. It does not access your photo library beyond the images you explicitly select.

Notifications

If you enable treatment reminders, the App schedules notifications locally on your device.

These notifications are generated entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party.

Data collection and third parties

The App does not collect personal information, usage data, analytics or advertising identifiers.

It contains no analytics tools, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Because the App does not collect or process personal information, no processing obligations arise for us under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") or similar laws in respect of your use of the App.

Data deletion

Because all data is stored on your device, you are in full control.

Deleting the App permanently deletes all data stored in it. There is nothing held by us for you to request or ask us to erase.

Age

The App is intended for users aged 16 and over, consistent with our guidance on the use of Lumilia IPL devices.

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone. The App collects no data at all.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the App changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before that version is released.
